Sunday, 18 October 2026

This is for you if

  • →You solve problems on competitive programming platforms for fun
  • →You care about why one solution is O(n log n) and another is O(n²)
  • →You want to move from puzzle-solving into real software engineering

Four rounds, from 24 September

Round 1 is individual. Everything after it is a team. Round 4 is offline.

Round 1 Ā· Individual Algorithm Qualifier

IndividualOnline

A timed online assessment of DSA and algorithmic problems. You compete alone; top performers qualify for Round 2.

Round 2 Ā· Team Algorithm Engineering Challenge

TeamOnline

Your team receives one large real-world computational problem — route optimisation, matching, scheduling, resource allocation, search, recommendation logic or large dataset processing — and designs an efficient solution.

You submit

Round 3 Ā· Software System Challenge

TeamOnline

A broader engineering problem that has to combine algorithms with APIs, databases, backend work, a frontend where required, and real performance and scalability decisions.

You submit

Round 4 Ā· Offline Grand Finale

TeamOffline

Finalists build live on the day against a new challenge, or an extended version of their own, and defend it to the jury.
